The Barbershop at Great Southern has proudly served our community since 1955, offering high quality and affordable haircuts to children, teens, adults, and seniors. After two generations, we are proud to remain a family-owned business and one of the best local barbershops in the greater Pittsburgh area. We are often told our Shop has great karma. Some say the karma stems from being the only original business in the Great Southern Shopping Center. Others say it's the love we sprinkle on everyone that walks through our door. That's right, love.

A good haircut gives you confidence, but a haircut at Barbershop at Great Southern gives you a lot more. We want everyone to see how great you look during your biggest moments - your wedding day, the first day at your new job, graduation day - and every day in between. The team at the Barbershop at Great Southern consists of J.R. Hoffman, Pasquale Cardamone, Noreen Tonti, Shane Turkily, Christy Satter, and Teddy - our Barbershop dog and official greeter.

In 2008, after 42 years in the first chair, Jack "The Barber" Hoffman, passed the clippers to his son, J.R., who now follows in his footsteps.
